We All Value Excellence (WAVE) is a new social emotional learning (SEL) curriculum for youth which provides evidence-based educational strategies that close the achievement gap and enable students to meet the state’s challenging academic standards.

The WAVE program...

• Promotes communication and interpersonal skills, analytic and critical reflection, and positive involvement.

• Students think more analytically about their own role in the social change process.

• Participants use learned skills and knowledge to inform and improve local youth and education policies through shared decision-making with adults
